The following international research projects were carried out in the Jean Monnet Chair of European Integration recently:

  • European Research Study Group on the Political Economy of the European Monetary Union (EMU), (conducted in 2012-2014,  coordinator: Pireus University, Greece; financed by Jean Monnet Multilateral Research Cooperation).
  • Developing trade and trade policy relations with the European Union - Experience of V4 countries and implications/lessons for EaPs (conducted in 2013, coordinated by Institute of  World Economics, Hungary, financed by International Visegrad Fund).
  • Strategic issues for the EU10 Countries. Impact of the EU10 Countries on EU – policy making, (conducted in 2011-2012, co-ordinated by Institute of  World Economics, Hungary, funded by Foundation for European Progressive Studies).
  • Also, several projects were financed in the past by the State Committee for Scientific Research, including research on “Negotiations on Accession to the European Union – Perspectives of their Completion and Possible Effects  on the Polish Economy”.
  • Numerous other studies and projects have been carried out as a part of statutory research at the World Economy Faculty of the Warsaw School of Economics, in the framework of individual research of staff and at the request of various institutions (including expertises commissioned by the Office of the Committee for European Integration).
